DIAGNOSIS

Root rot affecting ~70% of the root mass. The substrate has gone anaerobic; the plant is on the edge of viability.


PLAN FOR THE COMING DAYS
  1. 01

    Remove from pot, trim all black/mushy roots back to healthy tissue

  2. 02

    Rinse remaining roots in a weak hydrogen peroxide solution

  3. 03

    Repot in fresh orchid bark; do not water for the first 5 days
